Are You Ready?

I do not know about you guys, but I have been pumped about God’s coming lately. I am so excited, but at the same time God has been telling me to be sober minded. The world we live in is just getting worse and worse. I want to encourage you to read Romans 1:16-32. It is our world today, and it breaks my heart. Pray, my friends. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, pray for the unbelievers, pray for our leaders, PRAY FOR ISRAEL, pray for your enemies, pray for your children, pray for your spouse, pray. I am praying for you! God is merciful, powerful, awesome, and His love never fails! (Psalm 136).

I want to remind you all of something really important… that is repentance. God calls us all to have a repenting heart. Repentance is not just for the moment you first come to Christ, but we are to always submit ourselves to the Lord daily. Matthew 3:8 says “produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”  God wants to take us to places that we never could imagine, but in order for Him to do that we must first submit ourselves to Him and be obedient to Him. Let us long to be more like Jesus. May our hearts desire be to closer to our loving Father, for in His presence “there is fullness of joy.” (Psalm 16:11).

Lastly, but just as important, sing praises to the Lord. Each one of these scriptures talk about praising the Lord, and there are many more!

Ephesians 5:19

Colossians 3:16

Psalm 150

Psalm 195

He is good, and He loves to hear Your praises! You do not have to wait to go to Sunday service to sing praises to Your king. You can sing right in your own home. I know if you have kids it can be hard, but when you praise Jesus in front of your children you are leading them in the way of the Lord! Raise your hands, shout His praise! If your children look at you curiously,  take advantage of the moment to explain what it is you are doing and why you are so passionate. The other day Eden saw me crying while I was singing praises to the Lord, and she came up to me and said, “what’s wrong mama? You don’t have to be sad.” Then she gave me a big hug and kiss. It melted my heart for sure, but it was also a perfect opportunity to teach her about gratefulness and how such great joy from the Lord can bring tears to our eyes. It blew her mind that you can be happy while crying.

God is coming soon, you guys. We need to be ready. Yes, we should 100% be prepared for the long-haul, but let not your spirit grow faint. The time draws near. Sign after sign have come to pass, and more are happening every day! Look up. Be ready now and at every moment.

I agree! We need to be ready. Heart, mind and soul ready. Telling people the truth, in love and letting Holy Spirit touch their hearts. Maranatha!!
